Victory Honda (mm) uses shootout to best Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (mm), 5-4 (1-0 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Victory Honda (mm) defeated Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (mm) in a shootout 5-4 (1-0 SO).

The two teams needed eight turns to complete the shootout.

Victory Honda (mm) came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Victory Honda (mm) fell behind 3-1 after a short handed goal by Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (mm)'s ADAM GOODSIR at 11:59 in the second period. Victory Honda (mm) knotted things up at 4-4 on a goal by Giovanni Carabelli at 15:25 in the third period.

Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (mm)'s power play was ineffective against Victory Honda (mm)'s penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.
