M1 Davenport University rips M1 Buffalo / University at, 9-2

The M1 Davenport University Panthers were firing on all cylinders against the M1 Buffalo / University at Bulls, and when the final buzzer sounded Panthers emerged with a 9-2 win.

Luke Mccarthy had two goals and two assists to lead M1 Davenport University. Mccarthy scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 9:14 into the first period to make the score 3-0 M1 Davenport University. The Panthers had taken the advantage when M1 Buffalo / University at's Luke Swimline got sent off for roughing. Cody Walsh picked up the assist. Mccarthy's next tally on the power play made the score 6-2 M1 Davenport University with 8:48 left in the third period. M1 Davenport University had gotten the advantage when the Bulls' Matthew Notaro was sent off for tripping. Walsh assisted on the tally.
