A hat trick by Michael Harris was the highlight in Bobcats' 5-3 win against the M1 Davenport University Panthers.

The M1 Ohio University Bobcats excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. M1 Ohio University's offense was clicking better than usual and put 31 shots on goal during the game, better than the 2.9 shots per game it averages.

M1 Ohio University also got points from Joey Breslin, who also tallied one goal and one assist. M1 Ohio University also got a goal from Matt Wipper as well. More assists for M1 Ohio University came via Patrick Spellacy, Liam Geither, and Paul Sergi, who each chipped in one and Tyler Pecka and Mike Kretz, who contributed two each.

By firing 28 shots on goal, M1 Davenport University exceeded the 3.9 shots it averages per game this year. Penalties took their toll on the Panthers, as their penalty kill unit let in three power play goals.

M1 Davenport University was led by Kody Polin, who had two goals. Polin scored the first of his two goals at 15:25 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M1 Ohio University. Chris Eckler assisted on the tally. Polin's next tally made the score 3-2 M1 Ohio University with 18:22 left in the second period. Eckler picked up the assist. Travis White also scored for M1 Davenport University. In addition, M1 Davenport University received assists from Jordan Simmonds, who had two and Michael Gessler and Mason Bohlinger, who each chipped in one.

Aaron Alkema rejected 25 shots on goal for the Bobcats. M1 Ohio University incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Clayton Brown made 26 saves for the Panthers on 30 shots. M1 Davenport University incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
