M1 Adrian College squeaks by M1 Davenport University, 3-2

The M1 Adrian College Bulldogs gutted out a close 3-2 win against the M1 Davenport University Panthers.

Neither team gained more than a one-goal lead, and Adam Bristol's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

M1 Adrian College was led by Bristol, who registered one goal and one assist. Bristol scored 7:12 into the third period to make the score 3-2 M1 Adrian College. Justin Polischuk picked up the assist.

Others who scored for M1 Adrian College included Matthew Oneill and Robert Bodette, who scored one goal each. In addition, M1 Adrian College received assists from Matt Zaremba and Alex Dobrzeniecki, who each chipped in one.

The 29 shots that M1 Davenport University put on net surpassed the Panthers' average of 4.3 shots per game this season.

M1 Davenport University was helped by Mason Bohlinger, who tallied one goal. Bohlinger scored on the power play 5:49 into the second period to make the score 2-2. M1 Davenport University also got a goal from Kody Polin as well. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Davenport University were Cody Walsh, who had one.

The Bulldogs' Austyn Roudebush stopped 27 shots out of the 29 that he faced. M1 Adrian College incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Panthers' starting goalie, Matt Kaludis, made 21 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Clayton Brown, who stopped three shots. M1 Davenport University incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
