M1 Davenport University rolls over M1 Eastern Michigan University, 6-2

The M1 Davenport University Panthers had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-2 win over the M1 Eastern Michigan University Eagles.

M1 Davenport University was led by Jordan Simmonds, who tallied one goal and one assist. Simmonds scored 15:59 into the first period to make the score 3-1 M1 Davenport University. Kody Polin picked up the assist.

The Panthers found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. M1 Davenport University averages 3.8 goals per game. The Panthers' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals.
