M1 Western Michigan University wins tough contest against M1 Davenport University, 3-2

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the M1 Western Michigan University Stallions escaped with a 3-2 victory over the M1 Davenport University Panthers.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Cole Kapovich's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

M1 Western Michigan University was led by Kapovich, who had one goal. Kapovich scored 15:46 into the third period to make the score 3-2 M1 Western Michigan University. Jesse Cameron picked up the assist.

The Stallions' offense was clicking better than usual and put 24 shots on goal during the game, better than the 1.8 shot per game they average.
