Huge game by Richey boosts M1 Duquesne University over M1 Robert Morris Univ Pennsylvania, 3-0

The M1 Duquesne University Dukes' Zack Richey had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 3-0 win over the M1 Robert Morris Univ Pennsylvania Colonials.

Richey scored 3:24 into the second period to make the score 1-0 M1 Duquesne University. Marc Bezbatchenko provided the assist. Richey dished an assist on Bezbatchenko's goal that made the score 2-0 M1 Duquesne University at 15:53 into the second period. He added another helper on Eric Smith's goal that made the score 3-0 M1 Duquesne University at 5:01 into the third period.

M1 Duquesne University pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.

The Dukes stifled M1 Robert Morris Univ Pennsylvania's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The 40 shots that M1 Duquesne University put on net surpassed the Dukes' average of 1.9 shot per game this season.

M1 Duquesne University additionally got points from Bezbatchenko, who also finished with one goal and two assists and Smith, who also grabbed one goal and two assists.

The Colonials put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M1 Duquesne University to score on any of its six power plays. M1 Robert Morris Univ Pennsylvania did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Colonials put an average of 3.6 pucks into the net per game.
