Brandon Kerst had two goals to lead Kansas City Mavs Elite (mm) to victory. Kerst's tallies came at 15:20 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and on the power play 7:21 into the third to make the score 2-2.

Kansas City Mavs Elite (mm)'s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) power plays. Kansas City Mavs Elite (mm) found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 13 shots against St. Louis AAA Blues (mm)'s defense.
