Huge game by Johnson boosts M2 Central Connecticut St Universit over M2 Siena College, 6-3

Jack Johnson was all over the ice for M2 Central Connecticut St Universit, as he tallied one goal and two assists in M2 Central Connecticut St Universit's 6-3 win over M2 Siena College.

Johnson beat Paul Pizzitola with a shot 3:52 into the first period on the power play to make the score 1-1. A cross checking penalty on Brandon Grodzki had put M2 Siena College on the power play. Peter Tasca picked up the assist.

In the losing effort, M2 Siena College was paced by Brian Coyne, who tallied two goals. Coyne scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 55 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 M2 Siena College. Tasca assisted on the tally. Coyne's next tally on the power play made the score 5-3 M2 Central Connecticut St Universit with 9:10 left in the third period. Tasca provided the assist.

M2 Central Connecticut St Universit also had goals scored by Frank Pisano, who had three and Brendon Quirion and Adam Mink, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for M2 Central Connecticut St Universit were Connor Loree, who had two and Kyle Leyerzapf, Matthew Lis, Andrew Mazurkiewicz, Pat Dowd, and John Palmieri, who each chipped in one.

M2 Siena College's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three M2 Central Connecticut St Universit power plays.

M2 Siena College also got a goal from Brian Sisti as well. In addition, M2 Siena College received assists from Michael Blair, who had one.

M2 Central Connecticut St Universit incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. M2 Siena College totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 1-for-2 on the power play.
