St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) beats Chicago Fury (mm) 4-3 after comeback scare

Chicago Fury (mm) tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

A goal by Luke Gassett put St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) up 4-2 in the second period, but Chicago Fury (mm) pulled to within one on COLIN SWOYER's tally 13:18 into the third period.

Gassett was all over the ice for St. Louis AAA Blues (mm), as he tallied two goals and two assists in the win. Gassett scored the first of his two goals at 5:59 into the first period to make the score 1-0 St. Louis AAA Blues (mm). Brady Tkachuk provided the assist. Gassett's next tally made the score 4-2 St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) with 2:13 left in the second period. Tkachuk assisted on the tally.

Ethan Stahlhuth also scored for St. Louis AAA Blues (mm). Other players who recorded assists for St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) were Ben Jones and Curtis Oliff, who contributed one each.

Chicago Fury (mm) excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Chicago Fury (mm) forced St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) goalie Trevor Osborne to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

Chicago Fury (mm) was led by Adam Winiecke, who had one goal and one assist. Winiecke scored 16:43 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Parker Schultz picked up the assist. Chicago Fury (mm) also got a goal from Alex Martyn as well. In addition, Chicago Fury (mm) received assists from Brandon Yi, MICHAEL ZUFFANTE, and Josh N Nelson, who each chipped in one.
