M2 Penn State University holds on for 4-3 win against M1 Drexel University

The M1 Drexel University Dragons tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but M2 Penn State University would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

A goal by Francisco Reluzco put M2 Penn State University up 4-2 in the second period, but M1 Drexel University pulled to within one on Ryan Williams's tally 17:55 into the third period.

Reluzco was all over the ice for M2 Penn State University, as he grabbed two goals in the win.

M2 Penn State University did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. M2 Penn State University averages 7.7 goals per game.

M2 Penn State University also had goals scored by Conlan Sodrosky and Abraham Edson, who each put in one. In addition, M2 Penn State University received assists from Brent Antolik, Joe Bonazelli, Taylor Vincent, and Tyler Person, who contributed one each and Ryan Urban and Spencer Svoboda, who each chipped in two.

The Dragons put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M2 Penn State University to score on any of its six power plays.

M1 Drexel University was helped by William Bascou, who registered two goals. Bascou scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 2:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Drexel University. The Dragons had taken the advantage when M2 Penn State University's Antolik got sent off for tripping. Matthew Williams assisted on the tally. Bascou's next tally on the power play made the score 2-2 with 4:31 left in the first period. Stephen Villa picked up the assist. M1 Drexel University also got points from Williams, who also racked up one goal and one assist. More assists for M1 Drexel University came via Nick Lombardi, who had one.

M2 Penn State University incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. M1 Drexel University incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
