The M1 Eastern Michigan University Eagles tried to dig themselves out of a four-goal hole, but the M1 Adrian College Bulldogs held on for a 7-5 victory.

M1 Adrian College made the score 7-3 on a goal by Matt Zaremba at 3:03 in the third period, and M1 Eastern Michigan University got as close as 7-5 when Adam Pinkowski scored 18:33 into the third period.

Brad Kobryn had two goals and one assist to lead the Bulldogs. Kobryn scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 12:03 into the second period to make the score 4-3 M1 Adrian College.
