M1 Lebanon Valley College rolls over M1 West Chester University, 5-1

The M1 Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen were firing on all cylinders against the M1 West Chester University Golden Rams, and when the final buzzer sounded Flying Dutchmen emerged with a 5-1 win.

M1 Lebanon Valley College was led by goalie Chase Wilson, who finished with 29 saves while allowing one goal. Wilson certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.64 entering the contest.

The Flying Dutchmen were led by Andy Thurby, who tallied one goal and one assist. Thurby scored on the power play 9:46 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Lebanon Valley College. M1 Lebanon Valley College had gotten the advantage when M1 West Chester University's James Muncie was sent off for interference. Joey Labonte picked up the assist.

The Flying Dutchmen put 34 shots on net during the contest, more than the 19.8 they average per game.

M1 Lebanon Valley College also got points from Jacob Thomas, who also had two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for M1 Lebanon Valley College included Paul Hefferin and Louie Berube, who scored one goal each.

With 30 shots on target during the contest, the Golden Rams exceeded the 2.5 shots they average per game this year.

M1 West Chester University was led by Jimmy Mckee, who scored the team's only goal. Mckee scored on the power play 3:05 into the third period to make the score 4-1 M1 Lebanon Valley College.

M1 Lebanon Valley College incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Golden Rams' Michael Rice stopped 29 shots out of the 34 that he faced. M1 West Chester University incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. For the Golden Rams, Charles Case was ejected from the game.
