M1 Rhode Island / University of wins tough contest against M1 West Chester University, 4-2

The M1 Rhode Island / University of Rams gutted out a close 4-2 win against the M1 West Chester University Golden Rams.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Ray Boudiette at 1:40 of the third period.

Boudiette had a great game for M1 Rhode Island / University of, netting two goals.

By firing 23 shots on goal, the Rams exceeded the 0.1 shots they average per game this year.

M1 Rhode Island / University of also had goals scored by Christopher Porter and Nick Zellmer, who scored one goal each. In addition, M1 Rhode Island / University of received assists from Matthew DaSilva, AJ Chua, Mark Luciano, Brian Schehr, Billy DAmore, and Caleb Neal, who contributed one each.

M1 West Chester University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Golden Rams put 32 shots on net during the contest, more than the 1.9 they average per game.

M1 West Chester University was helped by Joseph Opdenaker, who had one goal. Opdenaker scored 11:53 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 West Chester University. Jimmy Mckee provided the assist. Justin Finnerty also scored for M1 West Chester University. More assists for M1 West Chester University came via James Davis and Michael Dorfschneider, who each chipped in one.

M1 Rhode Island / University of took out Andrew Sherman after he had made 10 saves and installed Neal in goal, where he finished with 20 saves and the win. The Rams incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Michael Rice made 19 saves for the Golden Rams on 22 shots. M1 West Chester University incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
