M2 New York University almost clawed its way back from a three-goal deficit, but M2 Central Connecticut St Universit managed to pull out a 5-4 win in the end.

M2 Central Connecticut St Universit led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when M2 Central Connecticut St Universit's Andrew Mazurkiewicz scored at 10:05 in the second period to put M2 Central Connecticut St Universit up 5-2.
