M3-Rowan University wins seesaw game versus M3-Southern Conn State, 6-5

The game between M3-Rowan University and M3-Southern Conn State evolved into a seesaw battle, but M3-Rowan University eventually prevailed 6-5 after four lead changes.

Darren Raudenbush had a great game for M3-Rowan University, netting two goals. Raudenbush scored at 17:59 into the second period to make the score 4-3 M3-Rowan University and again while 19:24 into the third to make the score 6-5 M3-Rowan University.

M3-Rowan University forced M3-Southern Conn State goalie Shayne OBrien to work between the pipes, taking 44 shots.

M3-Rowan University also had goals scored by Brandon Aiena, Mitchell Oliveto, Chris Hering, and Marty Bell, who scored one goal each. In addition, M3-Rowan University received assists from Dennis Padick, who had two and Daniel Dimonte, Joseph DiPasquale, Brandon Mead, Nicholas Dow, Michael Maurer, William Murphy, and Alexander Stewart, who contributed one each.

M3-Southern Conn State excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. With 29 shots on target during the contest, M3-Southern Conn State exceeded the 0.6 shots it averages per game this year.

M3-Southern Conn State was led by Dylan Butler, who tallied two goals. Butler scored the first of his two goals at 12:31 into the second period to make the score 3-2 M3-Southern Conn State. Justin Kenny provided the assist. Butler's next tally made the score 4-4 with 19:03 left in the third period. Kenny picked up the assist. M3-Southern Conn State additionally got points from Blake Biancamano, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Steve Sorrentino, who also had one goal and one assist. M3-Southern Conn State also got a goal from Johnny Johnson as well. Other players who recorded assists for M3-Southern Conn State were Vincent Fasulo, who had one and Scott Casley, who had three.
