Storjohann leads M1 Oswego State University over M1 Saint Bonaventure University, 5-1

Behind a great game by Kegan Storjohann, who had one goal and two assists, the M1 Oswego State University Lakers defeated the M1 Saint Bonaventure University Bonnies, 5-1.

Storjohann got on the board by slotting home a goal 2:00 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Oswego State University. Michael Pisarevsky picked up the assist. Storjohann dished an assist on Matt Peters's goal that made the score 4-0 M1 Oswego State University at 18:18 into the first period. He added another helper on Nick Winters's goal that made the score 5-0 M1 Oswego State University at 2:45 into the second period.

M1 Oswego State University pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 69 penalty minutes.

The Lakers forced M1 Saint Bonaventure University's goalies to work without much rest, racking up 35 shots and forcing 30 saves. Roberto Arredondo Bahensky made 17 stops and Alex Feyche made 13.

M1 Oswego State University additionally got points from Marc Weyl, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Peters, who also had one goal and one assist. M1 Oswego State University also got a goal from Nicolas Epping as well. In addition, M1 Oswego State University received assists from Austin Frost, Ben Paige, and Richie Santini, who contributed one each.

The Bonnies' offense was clicking better than usual and put 23 shots on goal during the game, better than the 0.5 shots per game they average.

M1 Oswego State University's Jimmy Albright stopped 22 shots out of the 23 that he faced. The Lakers registered one goal on four power play opportunities. For M1 Oswego State University, Frost, Brendon Wormley, Pisarevsky, Storjohann, and Connor Hoyng were ejected from the contest. M1 Saint Bonaventure University incurred 42 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Team's Colin Coppola, Tyler Gokey, and Sean Devine were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
