Joel Prpic was all over the ice for the Brantford Blast, as he tallied two goals and three assists in Brantford's 9-6 win over the Stoney Creek Generals.

Prpic scored on the power play at 43 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Brantford and again while 9:06 into the third to make the score 7-6 Brantford.

The Blast's offense rang up 41 shots on Stoney Creek's net. Brantford surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Blast have scored at the pace of 5.9 goals per game during the current campaign.

Brantford additionally got points from Andrew Marcoux, who also registered two goals and one assist, Derek Medeiros, who also racked up three goals and two assists, and Kevin Christmas, who also registered one goal and one assist. Brantford also got a goal from Chris Rebernik as well. In addition, Brantford received assists from Kyle Montpetit, who had four, Cam Sault, Connor Robinson, and Ryan McCarthy, who contributed one each, and Mark Taylor and Jeff Caister, who each chipped in two.

The Generals forced Brantford's goalies to work without much rest, totaling 32 shots and forcing 26 saves. Brett Leggat made six stops and Anthony Marshall made 20.

Stoney Creek was helped by Nathan Pageau, who had two goals. Pageau scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 4:46 into the second period to make the score 2-2. The Generals earned a power play opportunity when Medeiros was put in the box for hooking. Dennis Maxwell provided the assist. Pageau's next tally on the power play made the score 6-5 Stoney Creek with 15:19 left in the third period. Ryan Healy picked up the assist. Stoney Creek also got points from Matthew Reynolds, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Matt Smith also scored for Stoney Creek. More assists for Stoney Creek came via Dylan Gilbert and Jeremy Bloomfield, who contributed two each.

The Blast incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Stoney Creek's Daniel Svedin stopped 32 shots out of the 41 that he faced. The Generals incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
