M2 Lafayette College blows out M2 Muhlenberg College, 4-1

M2 Lafayette College had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over M2 Muhlenberg College.

M2 Lafayette College got the win behind a great game by Kyle Brennan, who had two goals and one assist. Brennan scored the first of his two goals at 16:03 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M2 Lafayette College. Alexander Neeb assisted on the tally. Brennan's next tally made the score 4-1 M2 Lafayette College with 12:10 left in the third period. M2 Lafayette College had gotten the advantage when M2 Muhlenberg College's Patrick Moran was sent off for high sticking. Eli Karp picked up the assist.

M2 Lafayette College's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three M2 Muhlenberg College power plays. With 43 shots on target during the contest, M2 Lafayette College exceeded the 0.5 shots it averages per game this year.
