Andrew Tucker had one goal and three assists to lead the M2 High Point University Panthers to an 11-2 victory over M3-Johnson and Wales University.

Tucker got on the board by slotting home a goal 4:59 into the second period to make the score 3-2 M2 High Point University. Tucker dished an assist on DJ Cummings's goal that made the score 2-2 at 3:59 into the second period. He then added assists on Victor Adamo's goal at 11:56 into the second and on Thomas McNeeley's goal at 7:44 into the third.

M2 High Point University found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Panthers average 2.8 goals per game.

M2 High Point University also got points from Garin Tracey, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Devin Barker, who also had one goal and two assists, Adamo, who also finished with three goals and one assist, Jake Moross, who also registered one goal and one assist, and McNeeley, who also racked up one goal and two assists. In addition, M2 High Point University received assists from Zach Pallis, who had two and Will Sheridan and Chris Wilkens, who each chipped in one.

M3-Johnson and Wales University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M2 High Point University to score on any of its eight power plays. M3-Johnson and Wales University could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game.

M3-Johnson and Wales University was led by Kalon Foss, who grabbed two goals. Foss scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 7:54 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M3-Johnson and Wales University. Marcus Peacock assisted on the tally. Foss' next tally on the power play made the score 2-1 M3-Johnson and Wales University with 16:03 left in the second period.
