Matthew Riehl netted a hat trick to lead M2 Army over M2 Rider University, 5-1.

Riehl notched his first tally 51 seconds into the second period. He then added goals at 1:13 into the second and at 10:20 into the third.

M2 Army was led by goalie Nicholas Candelmo, who finished with 37 saves while allowing one goal. Candelmo managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.33 prior to the game.

M2 Army excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. With 41 shots on target during the contest, M2 Army exceeded the 0.4 shots it averages per game this year.
