M2 Temple University rips M2 Rider University, 6-3

M2 Temple University had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-3 win over M2 Rider University.

M2 Temple University was sparked by Cody Vassa, who racked up one goal. Vassa scored on the power play 16:16 into the second period to make the score 4-3 M2 Temple University. M2 Temple University had gained a power play chance when Corey Hirsch was whistled for cross checking. Stephen Kennedy assisted on the tally.

M2 Rider University was unable to stop M2 Temple University from sending pucks towards the net, and M2 Temple University eventually piled up 43 shots on goal.

M2 Temple University additionally got points from David Brewer, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, Joey Powell, who also had one goal and one assist, and Greg Malinowski, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. M2 Temple University also had goals scored by Brady ODonnell and Patrick Golden, who scored one goal each. In addition, M2 Temple University received assists from Jason Lombardi, who had one.

M2 Rider University's offense was clicking better than usual and put 46 shots on goal during the game, better than the 0.9 shots per game it averages.
