M3-Aquinas College rolls over M3-Northwood University, 12-3Griffs Icehouse Sun, Nov 09, 2014 M3-Aquinas College had a four-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 12-3 win over M3-Northwood University. M3-Aquinas College got the win thanks to a great game by Graham Gates, who had two goals and one assist. Gates scored the first of his two goals at 5:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M3-Aquinas College. Doug Zelenka provided the assist. Gates' next tally made the score 6-1 M3-Aquinas College with 13:19 left in the second period. Carson Miller assisted on the tally. M3-Northwood University was doomed by its poor performance on special teams, as M3-Aquinas College was able to score five times while on the power play. M3-Aquinas College surpassed its usual scoring output this season. M3-Aquinas College averages 5.5 goals per game.
