Vinyard leads M1 John Carroll University over M1 Slippery Rock University, 5-2

Behind a great game by Kevin Vinyard, who had two goals and two assists, the M1 John Carroll University Blue Streaks defeated the M1 Slippery Rock University Pride, 5-2.

Vinyard found the back of the net 37 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-1 and again while 17:29 into the second to make the score 4-2 M1 John Carroll University.

The defensemen of M1 John Carroll University were also effective in M1 Slippery Rock University's zone, and came away with two goals. The 43 shots that the Blue Streaks put on net surpassed M1 John Carroll University's average of 3.6 shots per game this season.

M1 John Carroll University also got points from Parker Phillips, who also finished with one goal and two assists and Spencer Keglovic, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. M1 John Carroll University also got a goal from Tyler Gaglia as well. In addition, M1 John Carroll University received assists from Logan Lopicka, who had two and Maxwell Zwierlein and Richard Rhodes, who contributed one each.
