Huge game by Storjohann boosts M1 Oswego State University over M1 Slippery Rock University, 6-2

The M1 Oswego State University Lakers' Kegan Storjohann had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-2 win over the M1 Slippery Rock University Pride.

Storjohann scored on the power play at 19:47 into the first period to make the score 3-1 M1 Oswego State University and again while 12:40 into the second to make the score 6-1 M1 Oswego State University.

M1 Oswego State University's offense rang up 55 shots on M1 Slippery Rock University's net.

M1 Oswego State University also got points from Michael Lucarelli, who also registered one goal and one assist. M1 Oswego State University also got a goal from Richie Santini as well. In addition, M1 Oswego State University received assists from Austin Frost and Connor Hoyng, who each chipped in one and Deivn Coon, Michael Pisarevsky, and Devin Smith, who contributed two each.

The 28 shots that the Pride put on net surpassed M1 Slippery Rock University's average of 0.5 shots per game this season. The Pride struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as they finished the game with 24 penalty minutes for five opposing power plays.

M1 Slippery Rock University was led by Justin Drzemiecki, who grabbed one goal. Drzemiecki scored 2:22 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Joseph Bender provided the assist. Scott Vogelgesang also scored for M1 Slippery Rock University. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Slippery Rock University were Alex Shimoloens, who had one.

Jimmy Albright recorded 26 saves for the Lakers. M1 Oswego State University incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Pride's Lee Anderson stopped 49 shots out of the 55 that he faced. M1 Slippery Rock University registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
