M1 Minot State University beats M1 Adrian College 4-0 as Hengen gains shutoutMaysa Arena Sat, Jan 10, 2015 The M1 Minot State University Beavers used a sparkling performance by Riley Hengen to take down the M1 Adrian College Bulldogs, as the netminder did not allow a goal in M1 Minot State University's 4-0 shutout victory. The Beavers' penalty kill excelled, as M1 Minot State University gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. The Beavers stifled M1 Adrian College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. M1 Minot State University featured an improved defense during the game. The Beavers allow 2.6 goals per game. By firing 54 shots on goal, M1 Minot State University exceeded the 4.1 shots it averages per game this year. The Beavers were helped by Austin Yano, who finished with one goal. Yano scored 30 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Minot State University. Jeremy Johnson provided the assist. M1 Minot State University also got a goal from Lyndon Lipinski as well. In addition, M1 Minot State University received assists from Brett Mcnevin, who had two and Robby Moar, Cole Olson, and Brad Olynyk, who contributed one each.
