NEPEAN survived a determined comeback attempt by CAMBRIDGE on the way to a 2-1 win. A goal by Serena Weaver(PU) put NEPEAN up 2-0 in the first period, but CAMBRIDGE pulled to within one on Morgan Rolph's tally 14:34 into the third period. Weaver(PU) was all over the ice for NEPEAN, as she had two goals in the win. NEPEAN's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three CAMBRIDGE power plays. In addition, NEPEAN received assists from Kalie Grant, who had one and Carolyn Williams, who had two. CAMBRIDGE excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Other players who recorded assists for CAMBRIDGE were Rebecca Haddaway (A) and Rachael Irvine, who each chipped in one. Kira Bombay recorded 24 saves for NEPEAN. NEPEAN incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. CAMBRIDGE's Lauren Webber stopped 15 shots out of the 17 that she faced. CAMBRIDGE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
