ETOBICOKE's Colle deadly on offense in 8-4 win against BLUEWATER

ETOBICOKE relied on the scoring touch of Rachel Colle, who netted two goals, to beat BLUEWATER, 8-4.

Colle scored at 13:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 ETOBICOKE and again while 7:45 into the second to make the score 2-0 ETOBICOKE.

ETOBICOKE forced BLUEWATER's goaltenders to work between the pipes, racking up 34 shots and forcing 26 saves. Morgan Baker made 24 stops and Carley Molnar made two. ETOBICOKE surpassed its usual scoring output this season. ETOBICOKE has scored at the pace of 2.6 goals per game during the current campaign. ETOBICOKE could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

ETOBICOKE additionally got points from Madison MacCulloch, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Tegan Duncan, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, and Erin Locke (A), who also registered one goal and one assist. ETOBICOKE also had goals scored by Tory Harshman, Emily March, and Emily Landry (A), who each put in one. More assists for ETOBICOKE came via Alison Hanson (C), who had one and Lauren Ellerton, who had two.

BLUEWATER found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. BLUEWATER averages 1.4 goal per game. BLUEWATER's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. BLUEWATER gives up 2.4 goals per game.

BLUEWATER was led by Meredith Goldhawk, who finished with two goals. Goldhawk scored the first of her two goals at 8:55 into the third period to make the score 4-2 ETOBICOKE. Olivia Lynch picked up the assist. Goldhawk's next tally made the score 8-4 ETOBICOKE with 2:38 left in the third period. Devon Facchinato assisted on the tally. BLUEWATER also got points from Lynch, who also racked up one goal and one assist. BLUEWATER also got a goal from Davis Smith (A-Home) as well. In addition, BLUEWATER received assists from Veronica Harrigan and Bradey Couwenberg (C), who each chipped in one.

ETOBICOKE's Fabiana Petricca stopped 23 shots out of the 27 that she faced. ETOBICOKE registered one goal on three power play opportunities. BLUEWATER incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
