Hanson (C)'s big game bests SOUTHWEST in 7-4 ETOBICOKE win

Alison Hanson (C) was all over the ice for ETOBICOKE, as she tallied two goals and one assist in ETOBICOKE's 7-4 win over SOUTHWEST.

Hanson (C) scored at 8:50 into the second period to make the score 3-1 ETOBICOKE and again while 4:43 into the third to make the score 4-2 ETOBICOKE.

ETOBICOKE surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, ETOBICOKE averages 2.4 goals per contest. ETOBICOKE was effective with a man advantage, and put in three goals while on the power play.

ETOBICOKE also got points from Madison MacCulloch, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for ETOBICOKE included Rachel Colle, who had two and Emily Landry (A) and Elizabeth Gerace, who each put in one. In addition, ETOBICOKE received assists from Emilia Cotter (A), who had three, Emily March and Tegan Duncan, who contributed one each, and Tory Harshman and Willow Corson, who each chipped in two.

SOUTHWEST bested its season scoring average. SOUTHWEST averages 1.6 goal per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. SOUTHWEST could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

SOUTHWEST was led by Savannah Bouzide, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Bouzide scored 13:44 into the second period to make the score 3-2 ETOBICOKE. Meghan Power picked up the assist. SOUTHWEST additionally got points from Angeline Taiariol (A), who also racked up one goal and one assist. SOUTHWEST also had goals scored by Jenna Rops and Muna Fadel, who scored one goal each. More assists for SOUTHWEST came via Amy Maitre and Jenna Henry, who contributed one each.

Christie Honor rejected 24 shots on goal for ETOBICOKE. ETOBICOKE incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Hanna Slater took the loss and made 21 saves before being replaced by Alex Rajsigl who made two saves. SOUTHWEST registered one goal on four power play opportunities.
