Kendra Puttick (C) scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and WATERLOO held off the challenges of BRAMPTON in a tough 4-2 win.

A goal 3:34 into the first period by Puttick (C) proved to be the game winner, and powered WATERLOO to the victory. Kaillie Hardy picked up the assist.

WATERLOO was sparked by Megan Fergusson, who tallied one goal. Fergusson scored 10:38 into the second period to make the score 3-1 WATERLOO.

WATERLOO's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four BRAMPTON power plays. WATERLOO found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, WATERLOO averages 1.4 goal per contest.

WATERLOO also got points from Carly AuCoin, who also registered one goal and one assist and Sarah Rettinger, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, WATERLOO received assists from Morgan Bates, Taylor Walker (A), and Megan Johnston, who each chipped in one.

BRAMPTON was helped by Meghan Gallagher, who finished with one goal. Gallagher scored 10:26 into the first period to make the score 2-1 WATERLOO. Lauren McDonald provided the assist. BRAMPTON also got a goal from Abby Hofstra (A) as well. More assists for BRAMPTON came via Kaitlyn McAllister, Rhiannon Ford (C), and Brittany Gout (PU), who contributed one each.
