LONDON blows out ETOBICOKE, 5-2

LONDON had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over ETOBICOKE.

LONDON was led by Courtney Simpson, who finished with one goal and one assist. Simpson scored 2:21 into the second period to make the score 3-1 LONDON. Lexie Adzija picked up the assist.

LONDON's offense rang up 37 shots on ETOBICOKE's net. LONDON surpassed its usual scoring output this season. LONDON averages 2.2 goals per game.

LONDON additionally got points from Adzija, who also registered two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. LONDON also had goals scored by Nicole Miners and Sydnee Baker, who scored one goal each. More assists for LONDON came via Stacey Henshaw, who had one and Emily Bowman, Bryce Desa, and April Clark (A), who each chipped in two.

ETOBICOKE put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow LONDON to score on any of its three power plays. ETOBICOKE's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. ETOBICOKE averages 2.2 goals allowed per game.
