SOUTHWEST's Savannah Bouzide scored 4:59 into overtime to beat WATERLOO, 2-1 (OT).

SOUTHWEST pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.

SOUTHWEST was led by Bouzide, who grabbed one goal.

SOUTHWEST put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow WATERLOO to score on any of its seven power plays.

SOUTHWEST also got a goal from Angeline Taiariol (A) as well. In addition, SOUTHWEST received assists from Monica Sokolowski, who had one and Jenna Rops, who had two.

WATERLOO stifled SOUTHWEST's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

WATERLOO was led by Megan Fergusson, who scored the team's only goal. Fergusson scored 7:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 WATERLOO. Lexi Templeman assisted on the tally.

SOUTHWEST's Hanna Slater stopped 21 shots out of the 22 that she faced. SOUTHWEST registered zero goals on four power play opportunities. Cohen Myers made 22 saves for WATERLOO on 24 shots. WATERLOO incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
