BRAMPTON outlasts BURLINGTON, 4-2Century Gardens Sat, Jan 31, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
BRAMPTON gutted out a close 4-2 win against BURLINGTON. BRAMPTON gained the winning advantage on a goal by Rose Falzone 17 seconds into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. Falzone was all over the ice for BRAMPTON, as she registered two goals in the win. BRAMPTON outdid its season average for goals scored. BRAMPTON averages 1.6 goal per game. BRAMPTON also had goals scored by Kaitlyn McAllister and Kaitlyn Hatzes, who each put in one. In addition, BRAMPTON received assists from Lauren McDonald, Laura Magliocchi, Katie McTaggart, Dana Beattie (A), and Abby Hofstra (A), who contributed one each. BURLINGTON was helped by Jessica Desautels, who racked up one goal. Desautels scored 2:54 into the second period to make the score 2-1 BRAMPTON. Tristyn Svetek assisted on the tally. BURLINGTON's starting goalie, Holly Scott, made 11 saves and finished with the loss before she was taken out in favor of Kyra OBrien, who stopped four shots. BURLINGTON incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
