BRAMPTON tried its best to erase a four-goal deficit, but SOUTHWEST would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4.

A goal by Ellen Donaldson put SOUTHWEST up 4-0 in the second period, but BRAMPTON pulled to within one on Kaitlyn McAllister's tally 9:56 into the third period.

SOUTHWEST stifled BRAMPTON's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. SOUTHWEST kept BRAMPTON's goalie busy throughout the game, and Allison Small made 32 saves on 37 shots.
