LONDON tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but LEASIDE held on for a 3-2 victory. LEASIDE made the score 3-1 on a goal by Jessica Robichaud (A) at 17:49 in the third period, and LONDON got as close as 3-2 when Nicole Miners scored 19:52 into the third period. Robichaud (A) had a great game for LEASIDE, netting two goals. LEASIDE also got a goal from Siobhan Birch as well. In addition, LEASIDE received assists from Olivia Kariunas and Rachel Dowdall (A), who each chipped in one and Kaelyn Johnson and Katriona McNeilly (A), who contributed two each. LONDON managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. LONDON finished below its season average of 9.0 penalty minutes per game. LONDON was helped by Jennifer Semkowski (A), who had one goal. Semkowski (A) scored 4:11 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Miners picked up the assist. LONDON also got points from Miners, who also racked up one goal and one assist. More assists for LONDON came via Grace Donaldson, who had one and April Clark (A), who had two. Hailey Farrelly made 27 saves for LEASIDE on 29 shots. LEASIDE totaled 21 minutes in penalty time with three minors and one major and went 1-for-1 on the power play. LEASIDE ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Kandice Sheriff was ejected from the game. Molly Jenkins rejected 17 shots on goal for LONDON. LONDON registered one goal on five power play opportunities.
