WATERLOO was led by Becky Higgs, who scored the team's only goal. Higgs scored 1:58 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Megan Fergusson picked up the assist.

Hanna Slater rejected 16 shots on goal for SOUTHWEST. SOUTHWEST incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Jessica Fariello made 26 saves for WATERLOO on 28 shots. WATERLOO incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
