ETOBICOKE downs NEPEAN in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Alison Hanson (C) gave ETOBICOKE a 3-2 (OT) victory over NEPEAN when she scored 4:16 into the extra period.

ETOBICOKE's penalty kill excelled, as ETOBICOKE gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

ETOBICOKE was led by Hanson (C), who registered one goal.

ETOBICOKE stifled NEPEAN's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. NEPEAN was unable to stop ETOBICOKE from sending pucks towards the net, and ETOBICOKE eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. ETOBICOKE could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game.

ETOBICOKE also got points from Madison MacCulloch, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. ETOBICOKE also got a goal from Elizabeth Gerace as well. More assists for ETOBICOKE came via Tory Harshman, Lauren Ellerton, Emily March, Sam Fariello, and Tegan Duncan, who contributed one each.

NEPEAN stifled ETOBICOKE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

NEPEAN was helped by Maude Laramee, who racked up one goal. Laramee scored 5:07 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Samantha Bouley provided the assist. Blake Orosz also scored for NEPEAN. In addition, NEPEAN received assists from Kalie Grant and Alyssa Baker(A), who each chipped in one.

ETOBICOKE's Fabiana Petricca stopped 21 shots out of the 23 that she faced. ETOBICOKE registered zero goals on five power play opportunities. Laurysa Lewis rejected 30 shots on goal for NEPEAN. NEPEAN incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
