Behind a great game by Jessie Eldridge, who had two goals, TORONTO defeated SOUTHWEST, 4-1. Eldridge's tallies came at 8:49 into the second period to make the score 1-0 TORONTO and 13:45 into the third to make the score 3-1 TORONTO.TORONTO kept SOUTHWEST's goalie busy throughout the game, and Hanna Slater made 35 saves on 39 shots. TORONTO also got points from Taylor Baker, who also racked up one goal and one assist. TORONTO also got a goal from Haley Shugart as well. More assists for TORONTO came via Laura Ball, who had two and Daryl Watts, Tori Haywood, and Mikyla Grant Mentis, who each chipped in one. SOUTHWEST put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow TORONTO to score on any of its five power plays. SOUTHWEST was led by Savannah Bouzide, who scored the team's only goal. Bouzide scored 10:54 into the third period to make the score 2-1 TORONTO. Muna Fadel picked up the assist. Lindsay Wray made 22 saves for TORONTO on 23 shots. TORONTO incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. SOUTHWEST incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
