Kaelyn Johnson racked up one point to lead LEASIDE to a 2-1 victory over AURORA.

LEASIDE's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five AURORA power plays. LEASIDE kept AURORA's goalie busy throughout the game, and Taylor Lemmon made 31 saves on 33 shots.

Cynthia Cavanagh also scored for LEASIDE. More assists for LEASIDE came via Siobhan Birch, who had one.

AURORA stifled LEASIDE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. AURORA could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game.

AURORA was led by Katerina Dajia, who scored the team's only goal. Dajia scored 2:21 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Madison Lee assisted on the tally.

Hailey Farrelly recorded 19 saves for LEASIDE. LEASIDE incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
