MISSISSAUGA downs AURORA in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

MISSISSAUGA's Lindsay Agnew scored 2:13 into overtime to beat AURORA, 3-2 (OT).

MISSISSAUGA was paced by Agnew, who finished with one goal.

MISSISSAUGA stifled AURORA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. MISSISSAUGA forced AURORA goalie Melissa Black to work between the pipes, taking 43 shots.

Others who scored for MISSISSAUGA included Gabby Smyth and Kelly Mariani (C), who each put in one. More assists for MISSISSAUGA came via Shana Walker, who had two and Stephanie Sucharda (A), Caitlyn Sadowy (A), and Kyra Colbert, who contributed one each.

AURORA was helped by Jaden Head, who had one goal. Head scored 26 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-1. Brittany Kucera (C) picked up the assist. AURORA also got a goal from Alex MacKinnon (A) as well. In addition, AURORA received assists from Taylor McIntyre, Ashley Rothon, and Madison Lee, who each chipped in one.

MISSISSAUGA's Lin Han stopped 16 shots out of the 18 that she faced. MISSISSAUGA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Black rejected 40 shots on goal for AURORA. AURORA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
