OTTAWA tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but TORONTO held on for a 4-3 victory. TORONTO took a 4-2 lead during the third period, only to have OTTAWA storm back on a Amanda Ieradi goal 12:09 into the third period to pull to one goal down. With three goals and one assist between them, Sabrina Repaci and Celine Frappier teamed up to power TORONTO's offense. Repaci tallied two goals and one assist and Frappier also added one goal. TORONTO's offense rang up 38 shots on OTTAWA's net. TORONTO also got a goal from Daryl Watts as well. In addition, TORONTO received assists from Cara Clarke, who had two, Haley Shugart, who had three, and Claire Thompson and Jessie Eldridge, who contributed one each. OTTAWA also got points from Maggie Knott, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for OTTAWA came via Anonda Hoppner and Coralie Larose, who each chipped in one. Madeline Albert (PU) recorded 14 saves for TORONTO. TORONTO incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. OTTAWA's Elizabeth Spinozzi stopped 34 shots out of the 38 that she faced. OTTAWA incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
