WHITBY rallied from two goals down to secure a 4-3 win over LEASIDE.

WHITBY never led in the game until netting the game winner. WHITBY was down 2-0 after a goal by LEASIDE's Kaelyn Johnson at 7:50 in the second period. WHITBY tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Caitlyn Quartarone at 17:03 in the third period. WHITBY got the game winner at 18:50 in the third period on a goal by Quartarone.

With three goals and two assists between them, Quartarone and Emily Volpe teamed up to power WHITBY's offense. Quartarone tallied two goals and one assist and Volpe also notched one goal and one assist.

WHITBY forced LEASIDE goalie Hailey Farrelly to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

WHITBY additionally got points from Volpe, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Hailey Wilson also scored for WHITBY. Other players who recorded assists for WHITBY were Rhyen McGill(C), Briana Colangelo, and Cassidy Vinkle(A), who contributed one each.

LEASIDE's offense was handcuffed by WHITBY's defensive play, and LEASIDE managed only 12 shots on goal during the game.

LEASIDE also got a goal from Cynthia Cavanagh as well. In addition, LEASIDE received assists from Katie Strain and Kandice Sheriff, who each chipped in two.

WHITBY's Emma Schram stopped nine shots out of the 12 that she faced. WHITBY incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Farrelly recorded 32 saves for LEASIDE. LEASIDE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
