ETOBICOKE, which found itself down a man often, weathered BURLINGTON's power play opportunities and emerged with a 2-1 victory. ETOBICOKE was led by Tory Harshman, who registered one goal and one assist. Harshman scored 19:48 into the third period to make the score 2-1 ETOBICOKE. Emily March picked up the assist. ETOBICOKE forced BURLINGTON goalie Kyra OBrien to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. ETOBICOKE was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 16 penalty minutes. ETOBICOKE also got a goal from Sam Fariello as well. Other players who recorded assists for ETOBICOKE were Emily Landry (A), who had one. BURLINGTON was held back by its power play unit, which tallied one goal on nine chances. BURLINGTON struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 14 penalty minutes for seven opposing power plays. BURLINGTON was led by Rachel Armstrong, who scored the team's only goal. Armstrong scored 13:58 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Tristyn Svetek assisted on the tally.
