BURLINGTON and LONDON skate to 3-3 (OT) tie

BURLINGTON trailed LONDON by two in the second period, but LONDON did not give up and the game ended in a 3-3 (OT) tie.

BURLINGTON forced LONDON goalie Molly Jenkins to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. BURLINGTON was ineffective while on the power play, as it was held to two goals off of 10 man advantages.

BURLINGTON was led by Rachel Armstrong, who registered two goals. Armstrong scored the first of her two goals at 11:37 into the second period to make the score 2-1 LONDON. Karli Shell (PU) assisted on the tally. Armstrong's next tally made the score 3-3 with 6:49 left in the third period. Andrea Benac picked up the assist. Maggie Spratt-Mallick also scored for BURLINGTON. Other players who recorded assists for BURLINGTON were Kate Randazzo and Bianca Canade, who each chipped in one.

LONDON could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game.

LONDON was helped by Jennifer Semkowski (A), who registered one goal. Semkowski (A) scored 14:26 into the second period to make the score 3-2 LONDON. Emily Bowman assisted on the tally. LONDON also had goals scored by Tyler Way and Kiernyn Campbell, who each put in one. In addition, LONDON received assists from Lexie Adzija, Erika Raycroft, Sydnee Baker, and Kaylie Dennis (C), who contributed one each.

BURLINGTON's Holly Scott stopped 20 shots out of the 23 that she faced. BURLINGTON incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Molly Jenkins made 34 saves for LONDON on 37 shots. LONDON registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
