Daryl Watts grabbed two points to lead TORONTO to a 6-1 victory over WATERLOO. TORONTO forced WATERLOO's goalies to work between the pipes, getting 32 shots and forcing 26 saves. Jessica Fariello made 14 stops and Cohen Myers made 12. TORONTO put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow WATERLOO to score on any of its three power plays. TORONTO's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals. TORONTO also had goals scored by Taylor Baker, who had two and Claire Thompson, Cristine Chao, and Jessie Eldridge, who each put in one. In addition, TORONTO received assists from Haley Shugart, Sabrina Repaci, Laura Ball, Tori Haywood, and Emma Low-A-Chee, who each chipped in one and Celine Frappier, Kaitlin Tse, and Mikyla Grant Mentis, who contributed two each. WATERLOO's defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. WATERLOO gives up 2.2 goals per game. WATERLOO found itself short handed often, totaling 16 penalty minutes and allowing seven power plays. Stephanie Neatby recorded 15 saves for TORONTO. TORONTO incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
