Claudia Black finished with one point to lead AURORA to a 4-0 victory over BRAMPTON. AURORA's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three BRAMPTON power plays. AURORA was steadier on the defensive front than it has been for much of this season. AURORA averages 2.9 goals allowed per game. BRAMPTON was unable to stop AURORA from sending pucks towards the net, and AURORA eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. AURORA also got a goal from Becca Chilvers as well. More assists for AURORA came via Brittany Kucera (C), who had two and Taylor McIntyre, Ashley Rothon, Tara Morning (A), and Emily Reier, who each chipped in one. Melissa Black made 17 saves for AURORA on 17 shots. AURORA incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. BRAMPTON's Allison Small stopped 36 shots out of the 40 that she faced. BRAMPTON incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
