STONEY CREEK rips BURLINGTON, 5-1

STONEY CREEK had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-1 win over BURLINGTON.

STONEY CREEK was sparked by Jessica Brown, who had one goal. Brown scored 13:05 into the second period to make the score 2-0 STONEY CREEK. Sarah Hine picked up the assist.

STONEY CREEK excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. STONEY CREEK kept BURLINGTON's goalie busy throughout the game, and Kyra OBrien made 28 saves on 33 shots. STONEY CREEK found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. STONEY CREEK averages 2.8 goals per game.

STONEY CREEK also got points from Rachael Smith, who also tallied one goal and one assist. STONEY CREEK also got a goal from Taylor McMahon as well. In addition, STONEY CREEK received assists from Kayla Vespa, who had two and Claire Merrick, Nicole Collier, Mallory Young, and Sarah Jerome, who contributed one each.
