BURLINGTON tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but OAKVILLE held on for a 3-2 victory. A goal by Jaime Bourbonnais put OAKVILLE up 3-0 in the third period, but BURLINGTON pulled to within one on Andrea Benac's tally 19:57 into the third period. OAKVILLE kept BURLINGTON's goalie busy throughout the game, and Holly Scott made 36 saves on 39 shots. OAKVILLE was helped by Loren Gabel, who had one goal. Gabel scored 14:16 into the first period to make the score 1-0 OAKVILLE. Madison Field assisted on the tally. OAKVILLE also got points from Emma Maltais, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
