MISSISSAUGA survives penalties, beats BRAMPTON, 3-1

Despite having to fight off several power plays, MISSISSAUGA was able to defeat BRAMPTON, 3-1.

MISSISSAUGA was paced by Shana Walker, who had one goal. Walker scored 15:14 into the third period to make the score 2-1 MISSISSAUGA. Natalie Marcuzzi picked up the assist.

MISSISSAUGA kept BRAMPTON's goalie busy throughout the game, and Allison Small made 28 saves on 31 shots.

MISSISSAUGA additionally got points from Lindsay Agnew, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Emily Pinto also scored for MISSISSAUGA. More assists for MISSISSAUGA came via Nadine Edney (A), Caitlyn Sadowy (A), Kyra Colbert, and Kelly Mariani (C), who each chipped in one.

BRAMPTON was led by Hillary Hettwer (A), who scored the team's only goal. Hettwer (A) scored 6:42 into the third period to make the score 1-0 BRAMPTON. Rose Falzone provided the assist.

Lin Han recorded 17 saves for MISSISSAUGA. MISSISSAUGA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. BRAMPTON incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
