WATERLOO uses early goal to top OTTAWA, 1-0

Megan Fergusson gave WATERLOO the lead in the first period, and OTTAWA was never able to catch up in a close game that ended 1-0.

Fergusson provided WATERLOO with the game-winning tally when she scored 13:15 into the first period. Jennifer Newcombe assisted on the tally.

Cohen Myers spearheaded the defensive effort for WATERLOO, as she did not allow a puck past him and made 31 saves for the shutout. Myers managed to improve on her goals against average, which stood at 1.89 prior to the game.
